Credo nell'amore di Cristo, dono eterno per l'umanità 

Credo nel tuo amore, Signore Gesù,  

un amore senza confini, senza condizioni,  

un amore che avvolge ogni creatura,  

che guarisce le ferite e dona speranza ai cuori affranti.  

Dal principio della nostra esistenza,  

Tu ci hai chiamati alla vita con dolcezza,  

ci hai formati con le tue mani,  

soffiando il tuo Spirito in noi,  

perché fossimo riflesso della tua infinita misericordia.  

Signore, tu sei il mio pastore, nulla mi manca. Su pascoli erbosi mi fai riposare, ad acque tranquille mi conduci. Rinfranchi l’anima mia, mi guidi per il giusto cammino, per amore del tuo nome.  

Credo nel tuo sacrificio,  

nel tuo corpo spezzato per la nostra salvezza,  

nel sangue versato come alleanza eterna,  

nel dolore trasformato in redenzione,  

perché attraverso la tua croce,  

la morte non è più un'ombra,  

ma la porta verso la vita vera.  

Dio ha tanto amato il mondo da dare il suo Figlio unigenito, perché chiunque crede in lui non vada perduto, ma abbia la vita eterna.  

Nella notte in cui hai celebrato la cena con i tuoi apostoli,  

non hai solo spezzato il pane e condiviso il calice,  

hai donato te stesso, totalmente,  

hai lasciato il segno indelebile della tua presenza,  

perché nel pane consacrato e nel vino versato,  

sei vivo e operante,  

nutrimento per ogni anima che ti cerca.  

Io sono il pane vivo, disceso dal cielo. Se uno mangia di questo pane vivrà in eterno; e il pane che io darò è la mia carne per la vita del mondo.  

Hai chinato il capo e lavato i piedi dei tuoi discepoli,  

pur essendo Maestro e Signore,  

hai insegnato che la grandezza vera è nel servizio,  

che chi vuole essere il primo  

deve farsi servo di tutti.  

Ci hai mostrato che l’amore autentico  

si esprime nell’umiltà e nel dono di sé.  

Se dunque io, il Signore e il Maestro, ho lavato i vostri piedi, anche voi dovete lavare i piedi gli uni degli altri. Vi ho dato l’esempio, perché come ho fatto io, facciate anche voi.  

Nel tuo silenzio davanti agli oltraggi,  

nella tua pazienza davanti al tradimento,  

hai svelato la grandezza di un cuore  

che ama senza misura,  

che perdona senza condizioni.  

Padre, perdona loro, perché non sanno quello che fanno.  

Credo nel tuo perdono, Signore Gesù,  

nella tua misericordia che guarisce,  

nel tuo cuore che accoglie senza riserve.  

Non guardi alle nostre cadute,  

non conti i nostri errori,  

ma spalanchi le porte della tua grazia,  

invitandoci a tornare,  

a ricominciare,  

a vivere nell’abbraccio della tua salvezza.  

Se confessiamo i nostri peccati, Egli è fedele e giusto tanto da perdonarci i peccati e purificarci da ogni iniquità.  

Signore Gesù, Maestro e Redentore,  

insegnaci ad amare come tu hai amato,  

a servire come tu hai servito,  

a donare come tu hai donato.  

Fa' che la nostra vita sia una lode continua,  

un inno di gratitudine per il tuo sacrificio,  

un riflesso della tua luce nel mondo.  

Rendici degni di accogliere questo mistero,  

fa' che possiamo vivere con cuore umile,  

con mani pronte a soccorrere,  

con uno spirito capace di donarsi senza paura.  

Perché in te, e solo in te,  

troviamo la pienezza della vita,  

la pace che il mondo non può dare,  

la gioia che nessuna oscurità può spegnere.

I believe in the love of Christ, an eternal gift for humanity

I believe in your love, Lord Jesus, a love without borders, without conditions, a love that embraces every creature, that heals wounds and gives hope to afflicted hearts.

From the beginning of our existence, You called us to life with gentleness, You formed us with Your hands, breathing Your Spirit into us, so that we might reflect Your infinite mercy.

Lord, You are my shepherd, I lack nothing. You make me lie down in green pastures, You lead me beside quiet waters. You refresh my soul, You guide me along the right path, for the sake of Your name.

I believe in Your sacrifice, in Your body broken for our salvation, in the blood poured out as an eternal covenant, in the pain transformed into redemption, because through Your cross, death is no longer a shadow, but the gateway to true life.

For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life.

On the night You shared supper with Your apostles, You not only broke the bread and shared the cup, You gave Yourself, totally, You left the indelible mark of Your presence, so that in the consecrated bread and the poured wine, You are alive and at work, nourishment for every soul that seeks You.

I am the living bread that came down from heaven. Whoever eats this bread will live forever; and the bread that I will give is My flesh for the life of the world.

You bowed Your head and washed the feet of Your disciples, though You were Master and Lord, You taught that true greatness lies in service, that whoever wants to be first must become the servant of all.

You showed us that authentic love is expressed in humility and self-giving.

If I, the Lord and Master, have washed your feet, you also must wash one another’s feet. I have set you an example that you should do as I have done for you.

In Your silence before insults, in Your patience before betrayal, You revealed the greatness of a heart that loves without measure, that forgives without conditions.

Father, forgive them, for they do not know what they are doing.

I believe in Your forgiveness, Lord Jesus, in Your mercy that heals, in Your heart that welcomes unreservedly.

You do not dwell on our falls, You do not count our mistakes, but You fling open the doors of Your grace, inviting us to return, to begin again, to live within the embrace of Your salvation.

If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness.

Lord Jesus, Master and Redeemer, teach us to love as You have loved, to serve as You have served, to give as You have given.

Let our lives be a continuous praise, a hymn of gratitude for Your sacrifice, a reflection of Your light in the world.

Make us worthy of embracing this mystery, let us live with humble hearts, with hands ready to help, with spirits willing to give without fear.

For in You, and only in You, we find the fullness of life, the peace that the world cannot give, the joy that no darkness can extinguish.
