continuiamo a pregare,

Prayer for the dead is never a waste.
It is always—and will always be—an expression of love, of faith, and of hope.
To love those who have passed beyond is not superstition:
it is fidelity to the Gospel,
it is communion that crosses the threshold of death,
it is the conviction that love endures beyond time.

Those who do not believe may not understand.
Some, including Protestant brothers and sisters or other Christian denominations, may offer arguments, interpretations, or critiques.
But Catholic Christians pray for the dead out of love—love rooted in Jesus.
They do not do so with malice or fear,
but with hearts full of faith in the crucified and risen Christ,
entrusting their loved ones to his mercy
and to the hope of eternal Easter,
where there will be no more tears.

Only the Son of Man can judge the living and the dead.
Not us.
Not theories.
Not polemics.
Only He, who gave His life for all,
can welcome, purify, and save.

And we, in the silence of faith,
continue to pray,
because love does not die,
and the communion of saints is stronger than death.

Ricordati di me

English translation down below

English version
The memory of a dear departed loved one is a tender thought, but for many, it can also be a source of deep sadness. However, those who embrace gratitude bless God for the time and opportunity of having known and loved that person.

Having precious people in our lives is not something to take for granted, and for this reason, their memory deserves beautiful, positive thoughts filled with gratitude. Before the Creator, who chose a precise moment in our existence for us to meet these people and make them part of our story, we should remember them with love. Their presence enriched our lives through both joy and sorrow, leaving an indelible mark on our journey. And their passing has not broken the memory of their love; rather, it entrusts us with the commitment to continue the goodness they believed in, suffered for, and gave their lives to.

As Psalm 34:18 reminds us:
"The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit."

And again, in John 11:25-26, Jesus offers a promise of hope:
"I am the resurrection and the life; the one who believes in me will live, even though they die; and whoever lives by believing in me will never die."

To remember those we have loved with gratitude is a way to honor their life and continue the goodness they planted. Their memory lives on in our hearts and in the actions we carry out, as a legacy of love and hope.
