35. Parola   Nutriti della voce di Dio. - 24 marzo 2026

 

La Parola di Dio è molto più di un insieme di regole; è l'alimento essenziale che tiene in vita la nostra parte più profonda e la luce che ci impedisce di smarrirci nel buio. Quando ci mettiamo in ascolto della Sua voce, avviene un miracolo di armonia: ricevi contemporaneamente la forza per andare avanti e la mappa per non sbagliare strada.

 

Ecco i brani biblici che sostengono e illuminano questo mistero:


Il Nutrimento dell'Anima "Egli ti ha umiliato, ti ha fatto provare la fame, poi ti ha nutrito di manna, che tu non conoscevi e che i tuoi padri non avevano mai conosciuto, per farti capire che l'uomo non vive soltanto di pane, ma che l'uomo vive di quanto esce dalla bocca del Signore."

(Deuteronomio 8,3)

Questa promessa ci ricorda che esiste una fame che il cibo materiale non può saziare. La Parola è quel "pane quotidiano" che fortifica lo spirito, dandoci un'energia che non viene dal mondo, ma direttamente dalla sorgente della vita.


La Guida per il Cammino "Lampada per i miei passi è la tua parola, luce sul mio cammino."

(Salmo 119,105)

Dio non ci lascia soli nell'incertezza. La Sua Parola agisce come una torcia nelle notti dell'anima: non illumina tutto il futuro in una volta, ma rischiara il punto esatto dove dobbiamo poggiare il piede ora, dandoci la sicurezza di una direzione autentica.


L'Efficacia della Parola "Come la pioggia e la neve scendono dal cielo e non vi ritornano senza avere irrigato la terra, senza averla fecondata e fatta germogliare... così sarà della mia parola uscita dalla mia bocca: non ritornerà a me senza effetto, senza aver operato ciò che desidero e senza aver compiuto ciò per cui l'ho mandata."

(Isaia 55,10-11)

In questo brano vediamo l'armonia perfetta: la Parola scende come acqua (nutrimento) per farci germogliare, ma ha anche uno scopo preciso (indicazione). Essa compie sempre ciò che Dio ha stabilito per noi, trasformando la nostra vita in un giardino fecondo e ordinato secondo la Sua volontà.

Nutrirsi della Sua voce significa dunque accogliere una forza che trasforma e una verità che libera. Quando la Parola dimora in noi, non siamo solo "pieni", ma siamo finalmente sulla strada di casa.

The Word of God is far more than a set of rules; it is the essential nourishment that keeps our deepest self alive and the light that prevents us from getting lost in the dark. When we place ourselves in attentive listening to His voice, a miracle of harmony takes place: you receive at the same time the strength to move forward and the map to avoid losing your way.

Here are the biblical passages that sustain and illuminate this mystery:

The Nourishment of the Soul

"He humbled you, letting you hunger, then fed you with manna, which neither you nor your ancestors had known, to make you understand that man does not live by bread alone, but that man lives by everything that comes from the mouth of the Lord." (Deuteronomy 8:3)

This promise reminds us that there is a hunger no material food can satisfy. The Word is that “daily bread” that strengthens the spirit, giving us an energy that does not come from the world but directly from the source of life.

The Guide for the Journey

"Your word is a lamp for my feet, a light on my path." (Psalm 119:105)

God does not leave us alone in uncertainty. His Word acts like a torch in the nights of the soul: it does not illuminate the entire future at once, but it brightens exactly the spot where we must place our foot now, giving us the security of an authentic direction.

The Effectiveness of the Word

"As the rain and the snow come down from heaven and do not return there without watering the earth, making it fertile and fruitful… so shall my word be that goes out from my mouth: it shall not return to me empty, but shall accomplish what I desire and achieve the purpose for which I sent it." (Isaiah 55:10–11)

In this passage we see perfect harmony: the Word descends like water (nourishment) to make us grow, but it also has a precise purpose (direction). It always accomplishes what God has established for us, transforming our life into a fertile garden ordered according to His will.

To be nourished by His voice means welcoming a strength that transforms and a truth that sets free. When the Word dwells within us, we are not only “filled”—we are finally on the road home.
