Gesù ci dona il Paraclito, colui che ci sostiene e interviene nelle nostre debolezze. È fondamentale comprendere che solo attraverso lo Spirito Santo si può vivere autenticamente l’amore di Cristo. Finché il Paraclito non opera nelle nostre fragilità, c’è il rischio di credere di possedere Gesù solo attraverso sforzi e meriti personali, come se la fede fosse un traguardo da raggiungere con le proprie forze.

Tuttavia, la vera fede nasce dall’abbandono fiducioso all’azione dello Spirito, che trasforma ogni limite umano in testimonianza viva. Non è qualcosa di costruito artificialmente, ma un’esperienza che genera stupore e rinnova la speranza, rivelandosi nei gesti e nelle azioni guidati dall’amore di Dio.

Preghiera

Signore, grazie per il dono dello Spirito Santo, che ci accompagna nelle nostre fragilità e ci sostiene quando vacilliamo. Apri il nostro cuore alla tua grazia, affinché possiamo abbandonare ogni sforzo vano e affidarci completamente alla tua volontà. Fa’ che la nostra fede non sia costruita su meriti personali, ma sul tuo amore che rinnova, illumina e guida.

Rendici testimoni vivi della tua presenza, affinché il nostro cammino sia segnato dalla speranza e dalla gioia che solo Tu puoi donare. Amen.

Jesus gives us the Paraclete, the one who sustains us and intervenes in our weaknesses. It is essential to understand that only through the Holy Spirit can we authentically live the love of Christ. As long as the Paraclete does not work within our frailties, there is a risk of believing that we possess Jesus only through personal efforts and merits, as if faith were a goal to be achieved by our own strength.

However, true faith is born from trusting abandonment to the action of the Spirit, which transforms every human limitation into a living testimony. It is not something artificially constructed, but an experience that generates wonder and renews hope, revealing itself in gestures and actions guided by the love of God.

Prayer

Lord, thank You for the gift of the Holy Spirit, who accompanies us in our fragilities and supports us when we falter. Open our hearts to Your grace, so that we may abandon every vain effort and fully entrust ourselves to Your will. May our faith not be built on personal merits but on Your love, which renews, enlightens, and guides.

Make us living witnesses of Your presence, so that our path may be marked by the hope and joy that only You can give. Amen.
