Il segreto di Gesù

Gv 10, 29 Il Padre mio, che me le ha date, è più grande di tutti e nessuno può strapparle dalla mano del Padre. 30 Io e il Padre siamo una cosa sola". 

Gesù ci rivela il volto autentico di colui che opera attraverso di Lui: il Padre. Ogni sua azione, ogni sua parola, ogni suo miracolo porta impressa la presenza di Dio Padre, perché Egli non agisce per volontà propria, ma manifesta perfettamente l’amore e la volontà di Colui che lo ha mandato. 

Far conoscere il Padre non significa solo descriverlo, ma introdurre gli uomini a una relazione personale con Lui. Gesù non si limita a parlare di Dio, ma lo rivela nel modo più profondo: attraverso la propria vita, il suo insegnamento, il suo sacrificio. La conoscenza del Padre, dunque, non è un sapere astratto, ma un’esperienza vissuta, un cammino di scoperta che passa attraverso il cuore e la fede. 

Attraverso Cristo, l’uomo non solo scopre l’identità del Padre, ma viene chiamato a riconoscersi come suo figlio. Questa rivelazione trasforma radicalmente la relazione tra Dio e l’uomo: non più distante, non più imperscrutabile, ma vicino, amorevole, sempre pronto ad accogliere e a guidare. Chi accoglie la rivelazione di Gesù entra nella logica della fiducia e dell’amore, e trova nel Padre Celeste la sorgente inesauribile di vita e misericordia. 

Preghiera 

Signore Gesù, Tu sei la rivelazione perfetta del Padre, la luce che ci guida verso la verità e l’amore. Attraverso Te, conosciamo il volto misericordioso di Dio, il cuore di un Padre che ci accoglie, ci ama e ci attende sempre. 

Apri i nostri occhi affinché possiamo riconoscere la sua presenza in ogni momento della nostra vita. Insegnaci a fidarci del suo amore, a lasciarci trasformare dalla sua grazia, e a vivere come veri figli, liberi da ogni paura e lontani dal giudizio. 

Rendici strumenti della tua pace, testimoni della tua infinita misericordia. Fa’ che, attraverso il nostro cammino, possiamo rivelare il volto del Padre a chi è smarrito, a chi cerca speranza, a chi ha bisogno di un amore che salva e trasforma.

John 10:29-30 "My Father, who has given them to me, is greater than all, and no one can snatch them from the Father’s hand. I and the Father are one."

Jesus reveals to us the true face of the One who works through Him: the Father. Every action, every word, every miracle bears the imprint of God the Father’s presence, for Jesus does not act on His own will but perfectly manifests the love and will of the One who sent Him.

To make the Father known does not simply mean to describe Him, but to lead people into a personal relationship with Him. Jesus does not merely speak about God but reveals Him in the deepest way—through His life, His teaching, and His sacrifice. Knowledge of the Father, therefore, is not abstract knowledge but a lived experience, a journey of discovery that passes through the heart and faith.

Through Christ, humanity not only discovers the identity of the Father but is also called to recognize itself as His children. This revelation radically transforms the relationship between God and humankind—not distant, not incomprehensible, but close, loving, always ready to welcome and guide. Those who embrace the revelation of Jesus enter into the logic of trust and love and find in the Heavenly Father an inexhaustible source of life and mercy.

Prayer

Lord Jesus, you are the perfect revelation of the Father, the light that guides us to truth and love. Through you, we come to know the merciful face of God, the heart of a Father who welcomes us, loves us, and always waits for us.

Open our eyes so that we may recognize His presence in every moment of our lives. Teach us to trust in His love, to be transformed by His grace, and to live as true children, free from fear and distant from judgment.

Make us instruments of your peace, witnesses of your infinite mercy. May our journey reveal the face of the Father to those who are lost, to those seeking hope, to those who need a love that saves and transforms.
