Diventare dimora di Dio

Giovanni 14:23  

"Gli rispose Gesù: «Se uno mi ama, osserverà la mia parola e il Padre mio lo amerà, e noi verremo a lui e prenderemo dimora presso di lui»."  

Amare Gesù significa amare la sua Parola, perché egli è la Parola incarnata, rivelata e annunciata. Accogliere la Parola significa diventare dimora del Padre e del Figlio, permettendo loro di abitare nel cuore di chi si lascia ammaestrare e trasformare dal messaggio divino.  

Lasciarsi illuminare dalla Parola è la chiave per superare il peccato e vincere ogni forma di male e di fragilità. Solo attraverso la luce della Parola, l’anima trova la forza di camminare con fede e speranza, evitando che la vita spirituale si riduca a un’espressione folcloristica, priva di vera profondità e vitalità. La Parola di Dio non è solo un insegnamento, ma una forza che trasforma e rinnova, rendendo ogni credente partecipe della vita divina.

John 14:23  

"Jesus answered him, «If anyone loves me, he will keep my word, and my Father will love him, and we will come to him and make our dwelling with him.»"  

To love Jesus means to love his Word, for he himself is the Word incarnate, revealed and proclaimed. Embracing the Word means becoming a dwelling place for the Father and the Son, allowing them to abide in the heart of those who are taught and transformed by the divine message.  

Being enlightened by the Word is the key to overcoming sin and conquering every form of evil and weakness. Only through the light of the Word does the soul find the strength to walk in faith and hope, preventing spiritual life from becoming merely a lifeless tradition devoid of true depth and vitality. The Word of God is not just teaching—it is a force that transforms and renews, making every believer a true participant in divine life.
