- confusing their own voice with that of the Spirit,
- attracting people to themselves instead of to the Lord.
It is a subtle risk, because it often arises from good intentions.
But when the witness becomes the protagonist, the light grows dim.
The True Herald Does Not Take Possession of Souls
Those who proclaim Christ do not own anyone.
* They do not control anyone.
* They do not manipulate anyone.
* They do not pretend to be indispensable.
The true minister, the true leader, the true evangelizer knows that people do not belong to him, but to the Lord.
He is only a bridge, not the destination.
The Heart of the Witness: Humility and Transparency
To be a witness means:
- not standing in front of the light,
- not obscuring it with one’s ego,
- not replacing Christ with one’s own image,
- not confusing one’s voice with that of the Master.
The witness is like a window: the more transparent it is, the more the light passes through.
The True Light Enlightens Every Person
The Gospel says that the true Light enlightens every human being.
Not only some.
Not only the “near.”
Not only those who already believe.
Christ is the universal Light.
The witness does not decide who deserves or does not deserve the light.
He does not select, judge, or exclude.
He simply points to the Light so that all may see it.
The Authentic Witness Sets Free, Not Binds
When a person replaces Christ, he creates dependence.
When a person witnesses to Christ, he creates freedom.
The true herald does not say:
“Follow me.”
But rather:
“Follow Him.”
He does not say:
“I have the answer.”
But:
“He is the answer.”
He does not say:
“Look at me.”
But:
“Behold the Lamb of God.”
The Joy of Being Only Witnesses
Being a witness is not a lesser role.
It is an immense honor.
It is the mission of John the Baptist, of the apostles, of the entire Church.
Christ is the Light.
We are only lamps that reflect it.
And when we accept to be only witnesses, then the light truly passes through us—illuminating, warming, converting, healing.
Because the world does not need new “christs.”
It needs true witnesses—humble, transparent, free.
It needs people who proclaim with their lives:
“I am not the light. The Light is Him.”

* Non manipola nessuno.
* Non pretende di essere indispensabile.
Il vero ministro, il vero leader, il vero evangelizzatore sa che le persone non appartengono a lui, ma al Signore.
Egli è solo un ponte, non la meta.
Il Cuore del Testimone: Umiltà e Trasparenza
Essere testimoni significa:
- non mettersi davanti alla luce,
- non oscurarla con il proprio ego,
- non sostituire Cristo con la propria immagine,
- non confondere la propria voce con quella del Maestro.
Il testimone è come una finestra: più è trasparente, più la luce passa.
La Luce Vera Illumina Ogni Persona
Il Vangelo dice che la luce vera illumina ogni essere umano.
Non solo alcuni.
Non solo i “vicini”.
Non solo chi già crede.
Cristo è la Luce universale.
Il testimone non decide chi merita o non merita la luce.
Non seleziona, non giudica, non esclude.
Semplicemente indica la Luce, perché tutti possano vederla.

Il Testimone Autentico Libera, Non Lega
Quando una persona si sostituisce a Cristo, crea dipendenza.
Quando una persona testimonia Cristo, crea libertà.
Il vero annunciatore non dice:
“Seguimi.”
Ma piuttosto:
“Segui Lui.”
Non dice:
“Io ho la risposta.”
Ma:
“Lui è la risposta.”
Non dice:
“Guarda me.”
Ma:
“Ecco l’Agnello di Dio.”
