“Berakà” per ogni persona e ogni situazione. Per tutte le cose.
Berakà (ebraico: בְּרָכָה berakhah) significa benedizione.
È una parola che nella Bibbia indica:
- una parola che porta vita,
- un atto di lode,
- un ringraziamento,
- un invocare la protezione di Dio,
- un riconoscere che tutto è dono.
La radice è la stessa di barak, “benedire”.
Nella Scrittura, la Berakà è ciò che apre, protegge, fa fiorire, guarisce, dona pace.
È anche il nome della Valle di Berakà (2Cr 20,26), dove il popolo benedisse il Signore dopo aver superato una grande prova.
Dunque Berakà è la benedizione che nasce dopo la lotta, dopo la paura, dopo la fatica.
“Berakà” al primo giorno dell’anno
Il primo giorno dell’anno è il momento perfetto per vivere la Berakà.
Perché ogni inizio ha bisogno di una benedizione che:
- illumina ciò che verrà,
- guarisce ciò che è stato,
- apre il cuore alla speranza,
- dà forza per camminare,
- trasforma il tempo in grazia.
Il 1° gennaio diventa così la Valle di Berakà personale:
il luogo dove ringrazi per ciò che hai superato
e benedici ciò che stai per vivere.
Riflessione per il primo giorno dell’anno: “Viviamo la Berakà”
Oggi, primo giorno dell’anno, siamo chiamati a vivere la Berakà:
a benedire la vita, anche quando è stata dura;
a benedire il tempo, anche quando ci ha ferito;
a benedire il futuro, anche se non lo conosciamo.
La Berakà non è un gesto magico:
è un atteggiamento del cuore.
È scegliere di iniziare l’anno non con paura, ma con fiducia;
non con pesi, ma con gratitudine;
non con rimpianti, ma con possibilità.
Quando benedici, tu stesso diventi benedizione.
E ciò che tocchi, ciò che vivi, ciò che speri
si apre alla luce di Dio.

Che questo primo giorno dell’anno sia per te una Berakà:
una benedizione che ti accompagna,
una luce che ti guida,
una pace che ti custodisce.
Che ogni passo del 2026 sia segnato dalla grazia,
e che tu possa essere Berakà per chi incontrerai.

“Berakà” for every person and every situation. For all things.
Berakà (Hebrew: בְּרָכָה berakhah) means blessing.
In the Bible, it refers to:
- a word that brings life,
- an act of praise,
- a thanksgiving,
- an invocation of God’s protection,
- a recognition that everything is gift.
Its root is the same as barak, “to bless.”
In Scripture, Berakà is what opens, protects, makes life flourish, heals, and gives peace.
It is also the name of the Valley of Berakà (2 Chr 20:26), where the people blessed the Lord after overcoming a great trial.
Thus, Berakà is the blessing that rises after struggle, after fear, after fatigue.
“Berakà” on the First Day of the Year
The first day of the year is the perfect moment to live the Berakà.
Because every beginning needs a blessing that:
- illuminates what is to come,

Reflection for the First Day of the Year: “Let Us Live the Berakà”
Today, the first day of the year, we are called to live the Berakà:
to bless life, even when it has been hard;
to bless time, even when it has wounded us;
to bless the future, even when we do not know it.
Berakà is not a magical gesture:
it is an attitude of the heart.
It is choosing to begin the year not with fear, but with trust;
not with burdens, but with gratitude;
not with regrets, but with possibilities.
When you bless, you yourself become a blessing.
And what you touch, what you live, what you hope for
opens itself to the light of God.
