5. Ascolto – 22 febbraio 2026

Nel silenzio nasce la luce.

Il silenzio non è vuoto; è lo spazio in cui Dio finalmente trova posto per parlare.

Quando il rumore attorno a noi si attenua e il rumore dentro di noi si quieta, qualcosa comincia ad accadere: una chiarezza si alza, una direzione emerge, una luce nasce.

Ascoltare non significa semplicemente udire. Ascoltare è permettere di essere raggiunti. È lasciare che la Parola entri dove i nostri pensieri non arrivano, dove le nostre paure si nascondono, dove i nostri desideri attendono di essere purificati.

Nel silenzio scopriamo che Dio non grida. Sussurra. E solo un cuore che smette di correre, di reagire, di difendersi può riconoscere quel sussurro come la Sua presenza.

Ascoltare è il coraggio di lasciare che Dio sia Dio. È l’umiltà di chi non pretende più di avere tutte le risposte. È la fiducia di chi sa che la luce non nasce da sé, ma da Colui che illumina ogni oscurità.

Nel silenzio nasce la luce— la luce che guida i nostri passi, la luce che rivela ciò che conta davvero, la luce che ci prepara al cammino della Quaresima, dove ogni parola di Gesù diventa un sentiero e ogni silenzio una rivelazione.

5. Listening – February 22, 2026

In silence, light is born.

Silence is not emptiness; it is the space where God finally has room to speak. When the noise around us fades and the noise within us si quiets, something begins to happen: a clarity rises, a direction emerges, a light is born.

Listening is not simply hearing. Listening is consenting to be reached. It is allowing the Word to enter where our thoughts cannot arrive, where our fears hide, where our desires wait to be purified.

In silence, we discover that God does not shout. He whispers. And only a heart that stops running, stops reacting, stops defending itself can recognize that whisper as His presence.

Listening is the courage to let God be God. It is the humility of those who no longer pretend to have all the answers. It is the trust of those who know that light does not come from themselves, but from the One who illuminates every darkness.

In silence, light is born— the light that guides our steps, the light that reveals what truly matters, the light that prepares us for the journey of Lent, where every word of Jesus becomes a path, and every silence becomes a revelation.
