3. Conversione
“Lascia che sia Lui a trasformarti.”
La conversione non è un cambiamento che ci imponiamo da soli, né un esercizio di volontà che ci rende più forti. La conversione è un’opera di Dio in noi. È il momento in cui smettiamo di difenderci, di giustificarci, di controllare tutto, e permettiamo allo Spirito Santo di entrare dove noi non riusciamo più ad arrivare.
Convertirsi significa aprire uno spazio: uno spazio dove Dio può toccare ciò che è ferito, illuminare ciò che è confuso, sciogliere ciò che è irrigidito.
Non è sforzo, è resa.
Non è peso, è liberazione.
Non è paura, è fiducia.
La vera conversione accade quando smettiamo di dire:
“Devo cambiare da solo”,
e iniziamo a dire:
“Signore, cambia Tu ciò che io non posso cambiare”.
È allora che il cuore si allarga, che la vita riprende respiro, che il passato non fa più paura e il futuro non spaventa.
È allora che scopriamo che Dio non ci chiede perfezione, ma disponibilità; non ci chiede risultati, ma apertura; non ci chiede di essere forti, ma veri.
La conversione è lasciarsi trasformare.
È permettere a Cristo di fare in noi ciò che solo Lui può fare.
È accogliere la vita nuova che già ci attende.

“𝐋𝐞𝐭 𝐇𝐢𝐦 𝐛𝐞 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐨𝐧𝐞 𝐭𝐨 𝐭𝐫𝐚𝐧𝐬𝐟𝐨𝐫𝐦 𝐲𝐨𝐮.”
The conversion is not a change we impose on ourselves,
nor an exercise of willpower that makes us stronger.
Conversion is God’s work within us.
It is the moment when we stop defending ourselves,
stop justifying ourselves,
stop trying to control everything,
and allow the Holy Spirit to enter where we can no longer reach.
To convert means to open a space:
a space where God can touch what is wounded,
illuminate what is confused,
loosen what has become rigid.
It is not effort — it is surrender.
It is not a burden — it is liberation.
It is not fear — it is trust.
True conversion happens when we stop saying,
“I must change on my own,”
and begin to say,
“Lord, You change what I cannot change.”
It is then that the heart expands,
that life begins to breathe again,
that the past no longer frightens us
and the future no longer intimidates us.
It is then that we discover that God does not ask for perfection,
but availability;
He does not ask for results,
but openness;
He does not ask us to be strong,
but to be true.
Conversion is allowing ourselves to be transformed.
It is letting Christ do in us what only He can do.
It is welcoming the new life that already awaits us.
