Fare il bene

La cosa più dignitosa è continuare a fare il bene, anche quando la serenità sembra sfuggirti, anche quando la stanchezza si fa sentire e il mondo sembra restare indifferente ai tuoi sforzi. Fare il bene non significa semplicemente compiacere gli altri o cercare approvazione, ma piuttosto rimanere fedeli a ciò che si crede, agli ideali che danno senso alla propria vita.

La vera soddisfazione non nasce dal riconoscimento esterno, né dal consenso degli altri, ma dalla certezza di aver agito secondo coscienza e integrità. È un gesto silenzioso, spesso privo di applausi, ma carico di valore. Quando operi non per obbligo o per compiacere qualcuno, ma per rispetto verso te stesso, per onorare i tuoi valori e il tuo credo, il bene che compi diventa autentico e trasformativo.

Non è sempre facile, e ci saranno momenti in cui sentirai il peso di ciò che scegli di fare. Ma ricorda: anche nelle difficoltà, ogni azione giusta porta con sé una forza che va oltre le circostanze. Il bene fatto senza aspettative è quello che lascia traccia, che costruisce qualcosa di duraturo. E, anche se non sempre sembra evidente, il mondo è più luminoso grazie a chi sceglie di agire con rettitudine, nonostante tutto.

Preghiera di forza e fedeltà

Signore, nelle sfide della vita, quando il cuore è provato e la strada sembra incerta,  

donami la forza di continuare a fare il bene, anche quando la serenità mi abbandona.  

Fa’ che io agisca non per compiacere gli altri, ma per restare fedele ai valori che Tu hai posto dentro di me.  

Nel silenzio delle attese, quando le risposte tardano ad arrivare,  

insegnami a confidare nella Tua presenza, anche quando tutto sembra privo di senso.  

Aiutami a riconoscere che la vera soddisfazione non viene dagli applausi del mondo,  

ma dalla certezza di aver camminato con rettitudine e verità.  

Purifica il mio cuore da ogni paura e incertezza,  

illumina la mia mente affinché la speranza non venga meno.  

Rendimi strumento del Tuo amore e testimone della Tua misericordia,  

perché ogni mio gesto sia riflesso della luce che viene da Te.  

Ti affido il mio cammino, le mie lotte, le mie fragilità.  

Sostienimi, proteggimi, guidami,  

affinché, nel bene che scelgo di compiere,  

possa avvicinarmi sempre più a Te.

The most dignified thing is to continue doing good, even when serenity seems to abandon you, even when exhaustion weighs heavy and the world appears indifferent to your efforts. Doing good does not mean simply pleasing others or seeking approval, but rather staying true to what you believe in, to the values that give meaning to your life.

True satisfaction does not come from external recognition or the approval of others, but from the certainty that you have acted with conscience and integrity. It is a silent act, often unnoticed, but full of value. When you act not out of obligation or to please someone, but out of respect for yourself, to honor your beliefs and principles, the good you do becomes authentic and transformative.

It is not always easy, and there will be times when you feel the weight of your choices. But remember: even in difficulties, every right action carries a strength beyond circumstances. The good done without expectations is what leaves a lasting mark, what builds something enduring. And even if it is not always evident, the world is brighter thanks to those who choose to act with righteousness, despite everything.

Prayer of Strength and Faithfulness

Lord, in life’s challenges, when the heart is weary and the path seems uncertain,  

grant me the strength to continue doing good, even when peace feels distant.  

May I act not to please others, but to remain faithful to the values You have placed within me.  

In the silence of waiting, when answers seem delayed,  

teach me to trust in Your presence, even when everything feels meaningless.  

Help me recognize that true fulfillment does not come from worldly applause,  

but from the certainty of having walked with integrity and truth.  

Purify my heart from fear and doubt,  

enlighten my mind so that hope never fades.  

Make me an instrument of Your love and a witness of Your mercy,  

so that every action I take may reflect the light that comes from You.  

I entrust to You my journey, my struggles, my weaknesses.  

Sustain me, protect me, guide me,  

so that in the good I choose to do,  

I may draw ever closer to You.
