Preghiera per chi è nel dolore e nella necessità

Signore misericordioso, come Maria si affrettò verso Elisabetta portando gioia e speranza, così Ti invochiamo perché Tu venga con la Tua presenza a confortare coloro che vivono nella sofferenza.

Ti affidiamo, Signore, tutti i malati che giacciono negli ospedali, quelli che portano nel corpo il peso della malattia e nel cuore l’affanno dei pensieri. Sostienili con la Tua grazia, dona loro forza e allevia i loro dolori. Fa’ sentire loro il calore della Tua vicinanza attraverso l’amore di chi li cura e di chi li accompagna.

Guarda, Padre buono, le famiglie segnate dalla divisione e dalla mancanza di pace. Tu, che hai unito Maria ed Elisabetta nell’amore e nella fede, rinnova i cuori di chi vive nella discordia, porta riconciliazione dove regna l’incomprensione, e fa’ sorgere la luce della Tua pace nelle case dove regna la tristezza.

Ti affidiamo, Signore, coloro che vivono nella povertà economica e nella prova del lavoro mancante. Guida i loro passi, donando loro sostegno e solidarietà. Infondi in loro fiducia e speranza, affinché possano trovare dignità e riscatto nella comunità che li circonda.

Padre di bontà, come Elisabetta esultò per la presenza di Maria, fa’ che ogni cuore provato possa esultare per la certezza del Tuo amore, sapendo che Tu non abbandoni mai i figli che Ti cercano.

Prayer for Those in Pain and Need

Merciful Lord, just as Mary hastened to Elizabeth, bringing joy and hope, so we invoke You to come with Your presence to comfort those who live in suffering.

We entrust to You, Lord, all the sick who lie in hospitals, those who bear the weight of illness in their bodies and the burden of anxious thoughts in their hearts. Sustain them with Your grace, give them strength, and ease their pain. Let them feel the warmth of Your closeness through the love of those who care for them and accompany them.

Look, good Father, upon families marked by division and the absence of peace. You, who united Mary and Elizabeth in love and faith, renew the hearts of those who live in discord, bring reconciliation where misunderstanding reigns, and let the light of Your peace shine in homes where sadness prevails.

We entrust to You, Lord, those who live in economic hardship and the trial of lacking work. Guide their steps, granting them support and solidarity. Instill in them confidence and hope, so that they may find dignity and redemption within the community that surrounds them.

Father of goodness, just as Elizabeth rejoiced at the presence of Mary, let every afflicted heart rejoice in the certainty of Your love, knowing that You never abandon the children who seek You.
