It’s not easy to understand the word of God, that’s why many faithful
abandon the word of God and just jump into religious practices, like
devotionals and other kind of pious observances, without even any biblical
references. Many times I see it in my parish, where these devoted parishioners
devoutly touch the feet of the statue of the Immaculate Mary, and kissing their
hands that touches it. Usually they could only reached the horn of the devil,
and without thinking devoutly they kiss and make the sign of the cross.
Sometimes, I notice devout-persons acting like spiritual leaders, saying 3-4
rosaries a day and say a lot of novenas. Then when there are these neophytes in
faith, desiring to pray, they start threatening them as if something will
happen when they couldn’t complete thoroughly the whole prayer booklet. Is it all Christianity? Is it the reason why Jesus came to the world?
The Christian faith is totally different. It’s a paschal experience. A “kerygmatic”
or a “charismatic” encounter, because it’s an infusion of the Holy Spirit;
being inspired by His presence and love. Because the Holy Spirit “will guide us
to all truth”. “He will not speak on his own, but He will speak what He hears
(from the Father and from the Only Begotten Son)”. The Holy Spirit will declare to us the things
that are coming” (gift of knowledge and prophesy).
Such experience of the Holy Spirit gives so much energy and inspiration,
because it’s not something bookish or academic, but a dynamic prayer of praise
in “glorifying Jesus and the Father”. A complete experience of love and not of fear and threats.
The Holy Spirit takes control in our heart only when we allow Him; it's not automatic, it needs a deep love, it requires so much desire. When we let Him
touch our hearts and enlighten our minds. He brings us the love of Jesus, the
same love that the Father has given to His Son. He will mend all our hurts and deep wounds that cause fear and sin.
“HE WILL TAKE FROM WHAT IS MINE AND DECLARE IT TO YOU”.
«Everything that
Father has is mine; for this reason I told you that He will take what is mine
and declare it to you».

JN 16:12-15
Jesus said to his disciples:
“I have much more to tell you, but you cannot bear it now.
But when he comes, the Spirit of truth,
he will guide you to all truth.
He will not speak on his own,
but he will speak what he hears,
and will declare to you the things that are coming.
He will glorify me,
because he will take from what is mine and declare it to you.
Everything that the Father has is mine;
for this reason I told you that he will take from what is mine
and declare it to you.”
