Prayer is

 

𝑷𝒓𝒂𝒚𝒆𝒓 𝒊𝒔 𝒂 𝒃𝒓𝒊𝒅𝒈𝒆—𝒏𝒐𝒕 𝒂 𝒔𝒑𝒐𝒕𝒍𝒊𝒈𝒉𝒕.
It is not a performance, nor a platform for self-affirmation. It is the quiet place where heaven bends toward earth, and the human heart stretches toward God. A bridge is built to connect, not to elevate. And so prayer, in its truest form, connects the brokenness of humanity with the mercy of the divine. It allows grace to pass through—not to be hoarded, but to be shared.

𝑷𝒓𝒂𝒚𝒆𝒓 𝒊𝒔 𝒂 𝒄𝒉𝒂𝒏𝒏𝒆𝒍—𝒏𝒐𝒕 𝒂 𝒔𝒕𝒂𝒈𝒆.
It is the conduit through which the anointing of the Holy Spirit flows. Not a place for applause, but for surrender. When we pray, especially in intercession, we do not summon power to ourselves—we yield to the power that comes from above. The Spirit does not descend upon pride, but upon humility. The channel must be clean, open, and hidden. The moment it becomes a stage, the flow is obstructed.

𝑷𝒓𝒂𝒚𝒆𝒓 𝒊𝒔 𝒏𝒐𝒕 𝒂𝒃𝒐𝒖𝒕 𝒃𝒆𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝒔𝒆𝒆𝒏—𝒊𝒕 𝒊𝒔 𝒂𝒃𝒐𝒖𝒕 𝒔𝒆𝒆𝒊𝒏𝒈.
Seeing the pain of others, the need for healing, the hunger for peace. It is about perceiving the heart of God and allowing that vision to shape our words, our silence, our tears. The spotlight blinds; the bridge illuminates. The stage isolates; the channel unites.

𝑻𝒓𝒖𝒆 𝒑𝒓𝒂𝒚𝒆𝒓 𝒊𝒔 𝒌𝒆𝒏𝒐𝒔𝒊𝒔—𝒔𝒆𝒍𝒇-𝒆𝒎𝒑𝒕𝒚𝒊𝒏𝒈.
It is the act of stepping aside so that God may step in. It is the refusal to make ourselves the center, and the decision to become vessels. In this way, prayer becomes not just a spiritual act, but a sacrificial offering. It becomes the place where the Spirit moves freely, not because we are worthy, but because we are willing.

So let us pray not to be admired, but to be aligned.
Not to be praised, but to be pierced.
Not to be elevated, but to be emptied—so that through us, the healing oil of the Holy Spirit may flow into the wounds of the world.
