Ci sono domande che sorgono in noi riguardo a perché Dio ha permesso che certe prove accadessero nella nostra vita, perché non ha impedito che certe situazioni si verificassero. Mi vengono in mente alcuni passaggi della Bibbia: la tentazione di Adamo, il diluvio ai tempi di Noè, la ribellione e la mormorazione degli israeliti nel deserto, il cammino di 40 anni nel deserto, il massacro degli innocenti, il tradimento di Giuda, la morte di Gesù sulla croce.

Il Signore concede momenti di debolezza affinché si manifesti la Sua forza e ci renda uomini e donne secondo la Sua gloria. Eventi che hanno cambiato il corso della storia, dando una svolta diversa. Anche ciò che sembrava una disgrazia o una sventura, per mezzo della fede, della grazia e della misericordia di Dio, è diventato occasione per un'opera stupenda di redenzione e di Pentecoste, la primavera della fede.

Dal momento in cui abbiamo fatto esperienza della Sua forza, siamo diventati testimoni della Sua verità. Qualunque cosa accada, Dio è l'unica certezza, unica e invariabile.

Quello che ci è accaduto ha avuto e avrà sempre un senso.

Non dobbiamo mai dubitare della sapienza del Signore, anche quando a volte è difficile da comprendere.

Ciò che è necessario ora è che siamo una nuova creatura, figli amati dal Padre Celeste, e mai saremo abbandonati.

Credere ora ha un sapore diverso; abbiamo una nuova prospettiva del nostro rapporto con il Signore e della nostra religiosità. Abbiamo una comprensione più profonda della Sua fedeltà e della Sua sapienza. Abbiamo una fiducia serena nella Sua azione. Lui è più vivo in noi adesso.

Questions: The Why God issues?

There are questions that arise in us regarding why God allowed certain trials to happen in our lives, why He did not prevent certain situations from occurring. I think of some passages from the Bible: the temptation of Adam, the flood in the time of Noah, the rebellion and murmuring of the Israelites in the desert, the 40-year journey through the desert, the massacre of the innocents, the betrayal of Judas, the death of Jesus on the cross.

The Lord grants moments of weakness so that His strength may be manifested and so that He can make us men and women according to His glory. Events that changed the course of history, giving it a different turn. Even what seemed like a misfortune or calamity, through faith, grace, and the mercy of God, became an occasion for a magnificent work of redemption and Pentecost, the springtime of faith.

From the moment we experienced His strength, we became witnesses of His truth. Whatever happens, God is the only certainty, the unique and unchanging one.

What has happened to us has had and will always have a purpose.

We must never doubt the wisdom of the Lord, even when sometimes it is hard to understand.

What is needed now is that we are a new creation, beloved children of the Heavenly Father, and we will never be abandoned.

Believing now has a different flavor; we have a new perspective on our relationship with the Lord and our spirituality. We have a deeper understanding of His faithfulness and wisdom. We have a serene trust in His action. He is more alive in us now.
